Itron's Philip Mezey to Speak on Smart Grid Technology Trends at GridWise Global Forum

(NASDAQ: ITRI) announced today that Philip Mezey, President & COO of Itron's Energy unit, will be a featured speaker and panelist at GridWise Global Forum at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, November 9 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

During the panel, titled Technology Horizon: Future Trends and Potential Disruptions, Mezey will discuss emerging drivers and trends for grid modernization, from technologies that will enable smarter cities to innovations that will redefine the consumer relationship with their utility. He'll also touch on potential disruptions that may impact smart grid adoption and success. Mezey's fellow panelists will include Chief Technology and Chief Strategy Officers from leading utilities and other technology companies.
